GLADYS MORGAN CARROLL DIED SUNDAY, SEPT. 30, 2018.
Gladys Morgan Carroll, 74, of Clermont, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018. She was born Jan. 30, 1944, in Morgan County, Tennessee, to Roy and Argolia Morgan. Gladys was the only daughter — and right in the middle of eight brothers. Mrs. Carroll, with her husband, owned Carroll’s Welding on Maguire Road until his passing in 1999. She was also a retired school bus operator for Orange County Public Schools and a cosmetologist. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Herman; daughter, Sandra Wall; son,
Carl Copeland Jr.; granddaughter, Robin Gunnell-Mifflin; her precious parents, Roy and Argolia Morgan; and six of her beloved brothers, Clayton, Parley, Perry, Oran, Eddie and Dale Morgan. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Chauppetta, Peggy Gunnell (Robin), Teresa Waller
and Sonya Carroll-Dumas (John); son-in-law, Scott Wall Sr.; brothers, Walter Morgan (Joyce) and Randall Morgan (Kay); seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden, with Brother Tom Barnhill officiating, with interment at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka. The family would like to thank everyone who attended our mom’s viewing and funeral or sent flowers and kind words of encouragement during this difficult time. It was greatly appreciated.

Bernard Paul “Bill” Harter, II, 88, of Winter Garden, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2018. He was born in Gainesville, Florida, on Oct. 11, 1929. A longtime Orlando and Winter Garden resident, Bill was president of Harter-Adams P.A. Architects for 42 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, in the territory of Alaska. He was an honorary member of the Orlando Kiwanis Club and a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, in Orlando. Bill was a member of Masonic Lodge Eola 207 A&FM, the Scottish Rite and Bahai Temple Shrine. He loved all things outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, sailing and their home in North
Carolina. A very active member in the community, Bill was also the Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 227 for 10 years. The joy of his life was being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. B.P. Harter and Kathleen Williams Harter, and by his sister, Margret “Peg” Pattillo. Bill is survived by his wife of

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, in Orlando. Interment with military honors will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, Florida.
