Paint a rain barrel in Ocoee
The Ocoee Utilities Department will hold a free rain barrel workshop for residents from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 4, at the Utilities Administration office at 1800 A.D. Mims Road, across from the Jim Beech Recreation Center. The seminar will give residents an opportunity to learn about important water conservation issues while decorating their own rain barrel. The barrels are provided to workshop participants at no cost, but attendees must be Ocoee residents. Residents must pre-register before Friday, June 3, by calling (407) 554-7229.
