Payment of College Fund at Enrolment from the 31st August 2018 • A college fund of £100 is requested to be paid by all new students.

(with the exception of the students who are in the Academy of Sport as a different fee structure applies.) See page 5 of this document or pages 4-5 of the Fees and Charges policy for the Academy of Sport college fund.

• 50% of the college fund is non- refundable and goes towards

providing additional facilities and activities for students not otherwise covered by central funding, e.g. student welfare services and careers, information, advice and guidance services.

• The other 50% is refundable when students leave college, however this could be reduced to cover any loss or damage to college materials or property.

• Payment of the college fund is to be made by students at their individual enrolment appointment prior to the start of term.

• Payments can be made by cash, cheque (made payable to Worthing College) or debit/credit card.

Fees for Academic Courses There are fees associated with the following educational courses; Health and Social Care, Sport & Sport and Exercise Science courses.

Health and Social Care (CAMTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma) • Polo Shirt - £9.50 (Available from Broadwater Sports online or in person. Click here to purchase online)

• First Aid Training - £18 (payable at enrolment) • Mandatory Online Course Book - £6 (payable at enrolment) • DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Service) - £44 and you must apply and pay for this before you start the course. Forms will be sent to all students in July.

Sport & Sport and Exercise Science BTEC Courses (Optional for students studying PE A Level) Students studying these courses are expected to buy an educational Worthing College Sport and PE kit package, at £70 supplied by Broadwater Sports. For further details and to order online, click here.

Fees for Academies Academy of Sport The costs and fees associated with being a member of any of our sports academies is as follows:

• Academy membership fee is £100 per year paid at enrolment. • Academy kit from Broadwater Sports are required for each sport academy.

• The college fund for academy students, payable at enrolment, is £50

per year, of which the final year's fee is refundable when students leave college, however this could be reduced to cover any loss or damage to college materials or property. See page 3, 4 and 5 of our Fees and Charges policy for more information regarding the Academy of Sport college fund.

• The above studio fees will cover the cost of visiting performers.

Financial Help for Students The College aims to help those students in need of financial support to enable them to study at College. If you are over 16 and under 19 as at 31st August 2018, and meet certain criteria you may apply. See here for more information on bursaries and financial assistance.

Students Aged 19+ If you are 19 or older from the 31st August 2018 you may be eligible for an Advance Learner Loan to cover your tuition fees. See pages 5-8 of the Fees and Charges Policy.

International Students • Tuition fees are payable for all international students excluding EU •

students and students who have British a passport and are living overseas. For further information email: internationalinfo@worthing.ac.uk. See pages 8-10 of our Fees and Charges Policy 2018-19.

How to Pay All fees and charges are to be made by the student when they enrol at Worthing College, unless stated otherwise (e.g Academy of Sport Kit). Payment can be made by cash, cheque (made payable to Worthing College) or debit/credit card.
