Access to texts and other materials which support the course either as printed class notes or book loans through the class or the library. Membership of the College library equipped with up-to-date books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs and computers Access to a wide range of learning resources on the Student Intranet Internet access through College computers to other learning resources which are signposted in course handbooks, learning plans and on the Student Intranet
Where costs to students may be involved Worthing College will: 1. State clearly where students need to purchase materials specific to the course (eg consumables, texts which the student annotates, specialist clothing) giving an estimated cost in advance. (see below) 2. Signpost optional extra materials and activities with estimated costs in advance. (see below) 3. Sell a range of stationery items in the Shop and where economic, make bulk-purchases of some special items to enable savings to be passed on to students. 4. Indicate which courses require a compulsory Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check in advance and show the fee the applicant must pay to the CRB
