* Since January 2025 all UK private schools have been required to add 20% Value Added Tax (VAT) to school fees.
All fees are reviewed annually in the Summer Term with any change applying from the following September. Fees include:
• timetabled teaching classes;
• lunch for day students;
• accommodation and all main meals for boarding students;
• laundry (boarders);
• the majority of books and stationery that the pupil will require while at Worth;
• the majority of activities that take place on the Worth estate.
All charges shown in this fees document are exclusive of VAT.

The School has arranged for several organisations to provide tuition in music, dance and similar activities. The cost of these is payable direct to the provider.
All pupils will need to purchase a school uniform through our supplier Stevensons.
Payment Options
All fees for UK parents and overseas parents’ resident in the UK or with a UK bank account are to be settled by direct debit. An Administration Fee of £45 will be chargeable on any bills not settled by direct debit, an advance payment or through School Fee Plan
Payment is due before the start of term. Interest of 3% above the Bank of England base rate will be applied on a day-to-day basis for overdue payment with a minimum charge of £45
1 In the event of withdrawal of a pupil from an outing, the pupil will be charged where the school incurs an unavoidable cost as a result of the withdrawal, such as, the price of a non-refundable ticket. If another pupil takes up the place, the pupil withdrawing might not be charged – this cannot be guaranteed.

• School Fee Plan
UK parents can pay monthly payment plan through Premium Credit Ltd under the School Fee Plan (SFP)2

School Fee Plan reserve the right to remove parents from the scheme if they do not keep up with payments. The full balance outstanding will then be due with immediate effect.

• Credit/Debit Cards
We accept most credit and debit cards. Payments are made through the Fees Clerk who can be contacted on 01342 710209
• Cheque
Please make cheques payable to ‘Worth School’ and ensure you write the pupil’s name on the reverse. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.
• Payments in Advance
The School offers a scheme where, in return for a lump sum payment before, at, or after the acceptance of an offer of a place for a pupil, the School offers a credit to be applied against each term’s fee invoice for a set number of terms. The lump sum payment is not guaranteed to cover the termly fees for any term, and any short fall needs to be paid. • Anti-Money Laundering
Worth School reserves the right to ask for further details about the source of payments made from nonpersonal bank accounts, third parties and certain overseas accounts.

Scholarships & Bursaries
Parents are reminded that any offer of scholarship or bursary support is subject to the remainder of all fees and extras being paid on time and in full, otherwise the award could be withdrawn.
Withdrawal of Pupils
One full term’s notice in writing to the Head Master is required before a pupil is removed from the School, failing which a full term’s fees are payable in lieu.

Friends of Worth
The Friends of Worth is run by parents and exists to foster the community spirit and Benedictine values which are at the heart of Worth. It is dedicated to supporting the School by welcoming new parents to Worth, putting on events where parents can meet and get to know each other, providing opportunities to meet staff on an informal basis and raising funds for extras for the School. Each new family automatically becomes a member.
Worth Society
Worth Society is an association for former pupils, known as Worthians, to help develop a connection in their professional, social, spiritual and sporting lives by providing a friendly and efficient networking organisation.
