Quickly for several years, Moza is now the Marketing and Communications Director of the Generation Amazing Foundation one of SC's most important legacy programs. The CSR program operates around the world and thanks to football developed by development projects it has had a positive impact on more than 725,000 people. With less than six months to go before the big game kicks off, Qatar2022 sat down with Moza to learn more about his career and how he is helping Qatar create a landmark tournament.

Tell us about yourself I come from Al Thakhira, just outside Al Khor. I graduated from Qatar University with a degree in biomedical science before earning a Master's degree in medical education at Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain. I have always been interested in biology and microbiology and although I am not currently working in that field, my studies have given me confidence by increasing my ability to work in a completely different field.

Why did you join SC? The work I did to communicate with the Al Khor community before the construction of Al Bayt Stadium made it possible for me to meet many people who were working on the Qatar World Cup 2022 project. I was impressed with how determined they were to ensure that this tournament became a time of change for the development of the country. It encouraged me to join SC and help bring Qatar a legacy and a region they can be proud of.

What do you do every day?

When I first joined SC, I worked in the Technical Delivery Office, where I managed relationships with stakeholders and other agencies; especially government services. This role has enabled me to better understand the impact that the competition will have on the community, and how it will inspire Qatar National Vision 2030.

In particular, I have worked with housing infrastructure and the development of national health skills before the FIFA World Cup. This project was a complete introduction to my current role with Generation Amazing, a legacy program that uses football to develop as a means of supporting underprivileged communities around the world while building a more equitable society.

What motivates you in your work?

I love overcoming challenges and working as part of a multicultural team that respects diversity for all. I have always been encouraged by the level of hope that exists in all parts of our organization; despite the many challenges we all work to overcome daily. Qatar is a small country, but the great success we have
