He added that Ashghal in partnership with the Executive Committee for Inheritance (SC) and other partners, such as Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation Kahramaa and Qatar Rail, made the center ready to receive fans during a major sports event. Ashghal's role in hosting the World Cup is active, divided into three categories of applications before, during, and after the event, Al Qahtani said. Speaking about the pre-event program, he said, after the announcement of the tournament dates, Ashghal set up a team to inspect all the roads around the FIFA World Cup stadiums. The initiative aims to check road quality, signposts, safety barriers, drainage systems, street lights, traffic signs, and pedestrian crossings among others to ensure readiness to host a major sporting event.
