OUR MISSION: TO UNLEASH THE UPCOMING GENERATION TO CREATE WAVES OF CHANGE. We are the constructive alternative to a potentially destructive disenfranchised youth. When so many of the upcoming generation are marginalized and unemployed, we are motivating and deploying young people from all backgrounds to make positive change.
3
OUR VISION: TO FIGHT COMPLEX GLOBAL ISSUES BY BUILDING CONFIDENCE, RAISING ASPIRATION, AND CONNECTING DIVERSE PEOPLE OF MERIT. We are striving to be the leading youth movement tackling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Everyone has the responsibility for improving the world. After we engage diverse young people we will empower them to collaboratively make a significant contribution to achieving each of the 17 SDGs and their 169 sub targets. 4

STORIES and STATS With our aims to build an army of youth role models (at least one in every community), storytelling is incredibly important. Equally important is ensuring we thoroughly measure the inspired impact of our members and programs. We are improving our metrics all the time and here are some that tell the story of the last few years of World Merit.

3. the Flagship Program: Merit360 Merit360 is to be the world’s most prestigious gathering of diverse global youth who come together to tackle complex global issues. They will build an Action Plan, present it to the United Nations, then implement it. We are to host a Merit360 program on every continent each year and have this key opportunity be a beacon of inclusive and collaborative action. It is the loudest rally call for the Sustainable Development Goals. The three components of Action Plan 001 are:

for maximum impact.
Target:
Operate five Merit360 programs per year. With thousands of people working hard to prove their merit and earn a place on Merit360, hitting this target would mean that we would be a leading global force in engaging young people as activists and citizens. It would also mean the creation and scaling of
thousands of SDG focused projects. Running five Merit360 programs per year would mean annual revenue for this
program exceeding $2,500,000 from World Merit members.
18
Budget requirements: $1,000,000 in fundraising is needed to secure and enhance the first run of Merit360. In conjunction with money raised by program participants, this $1,000,000 from supporters will help to establish the Merit360 program as the world’s most prestigious and diverse opportunity for global youth.

THE FIVE NEXT STEPS TO CHANGE THE WORLD World Merit is a network of global citizens who are fighting to tackle the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and earn opportunities that match their potential. The positive actions taken in our community build confidence, aspirations, skills, competence and trust. Our online platform connects young global citizens and provides a place to debate on global issues, collaborate on projects and showcase impact. These are our five next steps to change the world, and the areas where we need your support:
