The Kingdom of Bhutan is a place of soaring 7,000m Himalayan peaks, glacial river valleys and crisp evergreen forests. Amankora offers five lodges doed across this ancient land, encouraging a circular journey of discovery.
Revolving around the Himalayan region’s traditional plant- and herbbased therapies, the treatments at Amankora’s five spas – one at each lodge – capture an enriching sensation that is wholly Bhutanese. The spas are scented with cedar wood, which is used as a Buddhist temple incense as well as a traditional medical remedy, and massages, scrubs and baths soothe all five senses: smell, touch, hearing, sight and taste.
