Places to Find Sea Glass On The Oregon Coast For some people, finding treasure on the Oregon coast is one of their favorite hobbies. Whether it's seashells on the beach, sand dollars, agates, or beautiful sea glass, there's a never-ending supply along the Oregon coast. When it comes to glass beach oregon on the Oregon coast, there are so many quiet spots to choose from. From the north shore, around Astoria, to Brookings, amongst the impressive rocky cliffs, beautiful sandy beaches and driftwood, you will have many places to choose from. Since the southern beaches are best beaches for sea glass, the sea glass can be seen more easily here. Don't rule out the northern Oregon coast just yet though, there are plenty of places here too. Note: For people who haven't visited the Oregon coast, make sure you never turn your back on the waves. The ocean may seem calm at times and raging at others (both beautiful to behold), but the sneaker waves can come to visit at any time.

1. Lincoln City From October through May, local Lincoln City artisans hide glass floats on Lincoln City beaches for people to find. What a great reason to get out and explore this beautiful coastline.

2. Moolack Beach Moolack Beach is an unbroken sandy beach on the central sea glass beach Oregon coast that stretches for almost 5 miles. Beverly Beach and Beverly Beach State Park are in the far north for those who want to spend the night in a tent, yurt, or RV. The beach area may be small, but the feelings of ocean peace and excitement are many. The area is very quiet and it is a pleasure to walk. A little windy at times, but certainly nice.

3. McVay Rock State Recreation Site McVay is a well hidden park that is noted for surf fishing, clam fishing, whale watching, and plenty of room to walk on the beach. The large lawn has a nine hole disc golf course with ocean views. The park towers over the ocean. As you walk along the edge, you will often have face-to-face encounters with the seabirds that capture the updrafts from the beach. A steep and rocky path leads to the beach. McVay is also home to one of the "off-leash" dog parks in the Brookings area.

4. Gold Beach
