Letter to the Minister
The Honourable Sandy Collins Minister Responsible for the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission
Dear Minister Collins: As Chairperson of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (the Commission), I hereby submit the 2014 Annual Performance Report in accordance with the government’s commitment to accountability. The report was prepared under my direction and in accordance with the Transparency and Accountability Act and the Guidelines for Category 1 Annual Performance Reports. The report presents the achievements and outcomes of the Commission’s 2014 objectives. The report also highlights future opportunities to support its commitment to providing services to injured workers and dependents, employers and the public through the administration of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Act. As Chairperson, my signature below is indicative of the board’s accountability for the preparation of the Commission’s Annual Performance Report 2014 and the achievement of the objectives as reported.
