Our three-story Ski Concierge building is located near the base of Gondola One – a short walk on a heated pathway or quick shuttle ride from Four Seasons. You’ll find a full-service concierge team, available to assist with equipment rentals, ski lessons, maps, weather reports, ski-condition information and more. Before hitting the slopes, enjoy complimentary snacks, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. 12

EXPERT BOOT FITTING If you plan to ski during your stay, we recommend you visit the Gorsuch boot-fitting room after check-in to be fitted for your boots and skis. Your information will then be transferred to the Ski Concierge building, where your equipment will be waiting for you in your private locker. These state-of-the-art lockers have been imported from Switzerland and feature a system that air-dries boots and gear.

Our Elf on the Shelf will keep a watchful eye over all the kids. Each night once everyone has gone to bed, our Elf will fly to the North Pole and report back to Santa on all the activities that have taken place throughout the day. Before the kids wake up each morning, the Elf will rejoin us at the Resort and hide in a new location. Find him and let the Front Desk know to receive a little treat.

On Christmas Day, join Santa Claus after his last ski run. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies with him in our Ski Concierge building, located near the base of Gondola One. It’s a chance to say thank you and farewell before he makes the sleigh ride back to the North Pole.

Vail Tree Lighting Ceremony

S U N DAY, D EC EM B ER 1 8 5 : 0 0 PM Bring the whole family to Silfer Plaza by the Covered Bridge for an evening of holiday celebrations. The evening begins with a holiday stage program including a-cappella entertainment and an appearance by Vail’s mayor, as well as special guests. The highlight is the lighting of the holiday tree. Complimentary hot chocolate will be served. Immediately following the program, join the popular lantern walk, heading up Bridge Street into Mountain Plaza.

Torchlight Parade and Fireworks

S U N DAY, D EC EM B ER 3 1 6 :1 5 PM This magical event is a Vail tradition on New Year’s Eve. Come to the base of Golden Peak to watch a torchlight parade, as skiers form a glowing train as they ski down the mountain. Fireworks will light up the sky directly after the parade.
