With the year quickly coming to an end, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our committed staff and valued partners for their ongoing support over the past 12 months.

This quarter has given us the chance to reflect on key highlights across the business, including several product launches, marketing campaigns, key industry events, community inititatives, just to name a few!

Amidst all that is happening across the flooring industry, it has been a privilage to be a part of the ‘Step Up for a Cure’ campaign alongside Floorworld and Pancare.

We also had the opportunity to contribute to Taubmans’ Colour of the Year development, helping shape their 2026 colour palette ready to guide customers through their DIY journey.

To round out 2025, our team has shared their highlights from the year passed and what they look forward to in the year ahead.

Promoting women in flooring isn’t just about representation — it’s about strengthening our industry. By creating opportunities, supporting growth, and celebrating achievements, we’re building a more skilled, innovative, and inclusive future for flooring.

Celebrating Excellence: The Carpet Institute of Australia Hall of Fame

Last week, we had the privilege of attending the inaugural CIAL Hall of Fame celebration, an event created to honour the pioneers, innovators, and true legends who have shaped the Australian carpet industry.

The evening paid tribute to individuals whose vision, leadership, and lifelong dedication have made an enduring impact on our sector. These inaugural inductees are genuine industry icons—leaders whose contributions continue to guide the standards, innovation, and integrity we value today.

We look forward to carrying this tradition forward and continuing to celebrate the remarkable people who make our industry exceptional.

Choices Flooring Photoshoot

Our team recently had the opportunity to attend Choices Flooring’s photo and video shoot showcasing our exclusive Comfort Choice Underlay. It was a fantastic day on set, and exciting to see the creative process come together. Our National Marketing and Product Manager even featured in the lifestyle component of the shoot!

We are 'United for Hope' - Our ongoing commitment to Pancare

Our partnership with Floorworld played an important role throughout Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month this November. The campaign began at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre, where we heard from leading experts about the challenges surrounding pancreatic cancer treatment. An insightful tour of the research labs offered a closer look at the innovation and scientific progress driving future breakthroughs.

The recent launch of our ComfortCare Underlay, available exclusively through Floorworld, marks a significant step in Dunlop’s commitment to providing sustainable, ongoing support for Pancare. With $5 from every roll sold donated directly to fund vital research and support services for Australians affected by upper GI cancers, this initiative reflects our dedication to making a meaningful difference.

As part of the launch, we were pleased to welcome Pancare CEO Doug Hawkins to our Wetherill Park factory, where our team walked him through the underlay manufacturing process and the purpose behind the product.

Our team also proudly showed their support at 'Unite for Hope', Pancare’s annual charity walk dedicated to raising awareness and funds for those impacted by upper GI cancers. It was inspiring to see the community come together in such a powerful way, and we were honoured to stand alongside so many passionate supporters.

Thanks to the collective efforts of our team, partners, and community, we closed the campaign with an outstanding total of $9,893 raised. Thank you to everyone who contributed—your support truly makes a difference.

Team Talk: The Year that Was & What’s Next

“I’ve now been with Dunlop for 12 months, and it’s been a really positive year for me. I’ve enjoyed getting out on the road, meeting our customers across WA, and learning more about our products and the flooring industry from a new angle.

It’s been great to see how strong the Dunlop name is and how much people trust the brand. That makes my job easier, and it makes me proud to represent the company.

I’ve also appreciated the support from the team. Everyone has been willing to help, answer questions, and share their knowledge, which has made the transition smooth. Building new relationships, supporting our retailers, and being part of such a good crew has been a real highlight.

Personally, I’m thankful for my family, my health, and the steady growth this year has brought me. It’s been a busy year, but a rewarding one. I’m looking forward to carrying this momentum into 2026 and continuing to build strong connections and positive results for Dunlop.”

In addition, IT will be automating the freight accounting process using Power BI, helping improve both speed and accuracy. These initiatives will strengthen our operations and set us up for a successful year ahead.
