A major road construction project in the village of Bull Valley is nearing completion. e construction, which began in August, included resurfacing Crystal Springs and Bull Valley roads from Valley Hill Road west to Country Club Road. e project covered nearly 6 miles of roads in Bull Valley and prompted detours around Bull Valley Road while a bridge was resurfaced. “ e roads look really good,” said Village Administrator Rich Vance. “ e work went as planned and on schedule, and we are very happy with the result.” Village President Emily Berendt said the majority of the construction is done, although a few finishing touches remain. She said it’s likely the project will be totally complete by the week of Nov. 13, although rain or other factors could push it back. Eighty percent of the funding for the project — or about $2.9 million — came from federal Surface Transportation Funds. e Please see Roads, Page 4
