PRIMARY

FRIDAY El Club De Español This class is for the little language sponges in the Primary Program to immerse themselves in more fun filled Spanish Instruction. They will learn songs, games and build their knowledge each week with repetition and connection to language. Limit 12 students/$130

Extracurriculars begin the week of January 8 and end on March 15. Programs run from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm unless stated otherwise.

STEM Workshop Join Cassandre and stretch your imagination! We will build harnesses for eggs before they ride a zipline, create mazes, and make our own chain reactions. Limit 12 students/$120

Upcycling Heros Curious minds and creative spirits, get ready to embark on an extraordinary adventure with Cassandre as we give new life to everyday items. Using imagination and innovation, we will bring new life to discarded plastics, old treasures, and all types of materials. Limit 12 students/$ 130

Sound of Music The children will learn about a variety of instruments while expressing themselves through song and movement. Limit 10 students/$120

TUESDAY Tap & Ballet Students will learn the art of traditional ballet and tap dance. We will focus on teaching technique and coordination while having fun. Limit 12 students/$130

Jewelry Making Create pieces you can wear with flair! We will experiment with different patterns, sets, materials, and colors. Limit 8 students/ $130

THURSDAY Tiny Sculptors Students will use clay, play-doh, and other moldable materials as they explore different types of sculpted artwork. Limit 10 students/$120 African Drumming (K-8) John Dickson leads this popular WHMS African drumming group. Beginners and experienced drummers alike benefit from the multi-age and ability group. African drums are provided by John or you are welcome to bring your own! Limit 18 students/$180

Little Master Chefs Create delicious meals/snacks in this fun extracurricular. We will experiment with different flavor creations and get to enjoy the treats we create! Limit 8 students/$170

MONDAY Mindful Explorers (LE) Join Nicole Lenihan in this afterschool mindfulness series designed specifically for elementary students! In this program, children embark on a journey to explore the wonders of mindfulness, fostering inner calmness, emotional resilience, and selfawareness. Limit 12 students/$130

Dungeons and Dragons Club (LE) Explore the world of D & D through this club. Players will be grouped in adventuring teams and will be embarking on various quests! Limit 8 students/$130

Olympics of the Visual Arts (UE/MS) Olympics of the Visual Arts is a friendly and spirited competition among art students across the state. Students working alone or in teams will represent WHMS by creating solutions to art problems in one of eight different categories. This is a double session class beginning on January 8 and ending in an all-day field trip on Monday, May 13 for the annual state-wide OVA event in Saratoga. This event is a wonderful way for students to interact with other student artists and together celebrate creativity.

We invite you to enrich our environment with your artistic expression! Creative prompts and interactive experiences will get our inner artists in the mood to freely explore artistic modalities and make inspired choices with a variety of Art materials. Limit 12 students/$140

Wolfpack Cheer (LE/UE) is the latest program to Woodland Hill that is perfect for new or experienced cheerleaders. We are looking for hardworking athletes interested in leadership, and teamwork. This organization is ideal for any student with a positive attitude, dedication, and most importantly school spirit! We are looking forward to learning sideline cheers, dances, jumps, beginning stunts and tumbling skills, and performing at school events. Cheer shirt included. Limit 12 students/$160

Join Iggy for a hybrid jazz/rock band experience! Please reach out to Iggy Calabria if you are interested. Prior jazz/rock instrument experience is required to join this extracurricular. Limit 10 students/$130

Monday & Thursday (UE/MS) Join Ben for another great season of volleyball. Work cooperatively as a team and develop your volleyball skills all while practicing good sportsmanship. Games will be set up with other local schools, dates will be determined in January. Game days and times may vary. The Volleyball Season will run until the end of March.

Cooking Club (UE/MS) In this club students will strengthen their skills in the kitchen and explore the love for food! We’ll hone our cooking skills while creating comfort food dishes for the winter! Limit 8 students/$180

BASKETBALL Basketball will give you the skills to improve your footwork, dribbling, passing, and shooting through exciting drills, games and activities. Basketball is intended to focus on player development in a fun and positive environment. Games will vary per team.
