Garden Furniture

We are excited to launch our new range of garden furniture. The range will include smaller space saving sets for balconies or small gardens, to a variety of rattan and aluminium sets for the more spacious garden.

We are excited to launch the new Milan Garden Furniture set. This wood finished aluminium set gives all the benefits of aluminium, such as rust free, low maintenance, longer lasting, all brought together with a timeless look of wood.

We have something for each of our customers to suit their style and space.

Furniture Material

Aluminium

Aluminium framed furniture is rustproof, lightweight, easy to clean and requires no treatment or painting.

Steel / Iron

Steel & iron furniture achieves a classic look with a strong and durable construction. It is heavy duty and sturdy; however, this product will rust if it is left out unprotected.

Rattan / Synthetic Rattan

A timeless look that works well in any garden. A minimal maintenance product that is resistant to frost and water. It is recommended that it is kept covered when not in use to prevent colour fading from UV (Ultra Violet) rays. Always note if the frame is steel or aluminium as a steel frame may rust if left unprotected.

Resin

For a more affordable choice Resin Garden Furniture is the way to go. Lightweight, minimal maintenance, easy to clean and weather resistant.

Wood

Wooden Garden furniture works well in any garden; however, it does require regular treatment with a preservative.

Gazebos, Parasols & Parasol Bases

We have a bright and beautiful range of garden parasols and sturdy gazebos to help protect and shade our customers this year.

Our 2.7m parasols are versatile and practical, thanks to their crank folding system. Available in 6 colours, they have a simple design that adapts to any decor or style. They are the ideal compliment to add a fresh and light touch to your outdoor space.

We also have a range of parasol bases in different weights and materials to help keep our parasols anchored on those windy Irish days.

Watering

This year we are delighted to announce that our new supplier partner for our watering department will be GARDENA.

Based in Ulm, Germany, GARDENA is the preferred brand for millions of home and garden owners worldwide when it comes to garden care. Today GARDENA is the leading brand for high-quality watering tools in Europe and represented in more than 80 countries all over the world.

Yardsmith - Dumper Bin

To complement the GARDENA range, we will be introducing these seasonal crates. These crates will hold a selection of our bestselling Yardsmith Watering and garden hand tool products.

Garden

Our Garden Hand Tools range was decreased in most stores in late 2022 in order to give more room to the seasonal area.

The stock which was uplifted by True Temper will be returned to the stores in January. When the goods were returned to True Temper they did not break down the pallets and we will receive the exact order which was returned.

As per previous years True Temper orders will be raised at store level. Yardsmith and Robin range will come through the DC ordered at Support Office Level.

Creative Products

As with previous years the stands will change each quarter. At the end of the quarter the rep will visit the store and uplift any items not sold.

See below schedule as to when the stock for each quarter will arrive into your store and what products are included for each quarter.

Stores will receive the stock no later than one week before the changeover.

Planograms

Planograms will be located on Workvivo under Apps> Merchandising>Planograms 2023>Gardening. An update will be issued in the Trading Pack when these are published.

Planograms will be tested in the Support Office Merchandising Centre before being published to stores to ensure they suit the products and racking. We ask that stores could please support us in putting these planograms in place and that they are maintained throughout the season.

Spare Parts Procedure

Last year we increased the range of spare Lawn Mower parts available on the website. This was well received by both customers and stores. This year we are expanding further to include a comprehensive range of spare parts for our current Pro-Lawn and Hyundai Lawn Mowers, as well as a selected range of parts for Pro-Lawn mowers from previous years and ROK Pressure washer hoses.

Full details of the spare parts available and the process for requesting parts will be issued in the Trading Pack when these parts arrive and are available on the website.

Repair & Returns Procedure

Black+Decker

2 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on all Black+Decker items.

Products under SSP €100 can be refunded to customers without question if they have a receipt - the item must then be disposed of and put through the store waste.

Tools for Repair Under Warranty

There are two options for our customers:

1. Contact Black+Decker - collect from store:

Please ensure the customer is aware that proof of purchase will be required for all warranty repairs.

Spare Parts

For spare parts, please refer customer to their local Authorised Agent as these cannot be sold directly.

Missing Parts

Any tool sold that has a missing part, refer customer to Black+Decker.

Husqvarna/Flymo

Products within a 2-year warranty can be brought back to store for exchange /refund.

If a customer wishes to repair the product, they will have to contact Husqvarna customer service or a Husqvarna certified dealer.

Ireland Warranty Repairs

Customer should contact Kärcher directly either via email:

• They will be asked to provide contact details and product details (*note* Serial Number must be provided) and proof of purchase to process a warranty collection.

• When Kärcher have received all this detail they will organise collection of the machine by courier for inspection at our service centre.

• The repaired item will then be returned directly to the consumer or if replacement is required the item, we will also deliver it directly to the consumer.

All Bosch products come with a 2-year warranty from time of purchase.

Repair Under Warranty

Faulty products under warranty can be sent for repair to Origo service agents.

To arrange collection of an item for repair with Origo stores would have to send an e-mail to :

Origo would then need all details including store contact names and phone numbers, Woodie’s repair docket and customer details.

A courier will then be sent for collection. Normal turnaround time is usually between 24-48 hours.

Once the item is repaired it will then be returned to the branch.

Returns and Repairs

In the event of a customer returning with an item of garden machinery for repair the procedure is as follows: Please take the following details::

• Consumer name and address.

• Model of item.

• Date of purchase attached with copy of proof of purchase.

• Brief description of fault.

• The date it was returned to the store.

• The date McLoughlins advised for uplift.

McLoughlinsRS will arrange upliftusually within 48 hours.
