Reception enjoyed a fun PE lesson with Mr Unfortunately, our Year 5 and 6 football fixtures were cancelled this week, but the Waterhouse working on their ball skills! time was put to good use and the children headed down to The Grove to play an impromptu 6-team tournament on Rawdon Meadows. Year 5 have been busy investigating thermal insulators this week in their science lessons.

This week, some of our runners spent a great afternoon at Barlborough Hall. We had bronze, silver and gold medal winners, as well as a good number of children placing highly in their races. Great work!

Last week, the children were treated to hot dogs and chips, a disco that involved lots of great dancing and goodies, by our ABA. Another very enjoyable evening for the children, thank you!

Fun Fact Of the week A giraffe has the same number of bones in its neck as a human, but they are much large .
