English, Drama and Media Trip

Last week, 33 Year 12 and 13 students went to London on a two day English, drama and media trip. They had a jam packed first day starting with an amazing tour of the National Theatre and then a Justice and Journalism walking tour, learning about Dr Johnson. To end the day they headed to one of Jay Gatsby's infamous soirées and saw the whole novel play out in front of them. Our students interacted with the actors and, due to the immersive experience, they all saw a totally different perspective of the story!

On the final day they made some short films in the morning and then headed to Pinewood Studios. After going behind the scenes of the studios they spent the rest of the day at Harry Potter Studios. It was a fun-filled trip and we hope everyone had an amazing time.
