The Easter Charity Concert

Thanks to all the Performing Arts students and staff for last night’s Easter Concert. We were treated to a variety of music from a variety of school bands, including the theme from ‘Back to the Future’.

The students and staff rehearsed very hard and it was a lovely final musical event to celebrate the end of term and the beginning of the Easter holidays.

Rosslyn Park 7s Rugby

We took four teams to Rosslyn Park 2024 and it was a rollercoaster of a ride, with some fantastic rugby played and many 'nearly' moments for our teams. The U14s missed out on qualifying by just one try, and our U16s & 1st VII faced some very strong opposition in their groups but that is the nature of this highly competitive tournament!

Our U13s had an absolutely cracking visit to the tournament, winning their group and posting an impressive 95 points difference across their 5 games!

Having arrived in Ypres on Monday night, students spent yesterday on the Somme with a visit to the Lochnagar Crater, the Thiepval Memorial for the Missing, and The Newfoundland Memorial Park. A packed itinerary and an amazing experience.

Wishing our netballers and staff a fantastic trip next week as they take in the sights (and hopefully the sun) of Barcelona.

A Day Trip to London

Some of our Miller boarders went on a day trip to London last weekend, accompanied by boarding tutors, Miss Myers and Miss Winks.

They had breakfast on Oxford Street before heading to the Twist Museum. Then some of the group enjoyed shopping, whilst others went on a sightseeing trip taking in the London Eye, Big Ben, Downing Street and Buckingham Palace before meeting up in Camden Town to head home.
