This month, members voted for their favorite staff members, and we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on someone who’s been serving up smiles for more than a decade — Brandon Swartz. Meet one of our most dedicated team members—known for his warm personality, love of the outdoors, and surprising hidden talent!

Get to Know Brandon

Q: What’s your current role at the Club, and how long have you been part of the team?

I'm the Lead Server and have proudly been part of the team for 11½ years.

Q: What originally brought you to Woodbridge Golf & Country Club?

I came to Woodbridge to create a better life for myself.

Q: What’s your favorite part of your job? Definitely making members happy.

I appreciate hearing all kinds of feedback— positive or constructive.

Q: Can you share a memorable moment or story from your time here?

Some of my favorite memories are from our employee parties and BBQs. Stephen Carillo’s chili beans are unforgettable, and Kevin Wolf and John Hagen are top-tier grill masters!

Q: How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

I love being outdoors—fishing, relaxing, and especially spending time with my daughter.

Q: Do you have career aspirations outside of the Club?

I’m always looking to learn and grow in everything I do.

Q: What’s your favorite event or tradition at the Club?

The Tokay Invitational— it’s always a great time!

Q: What’s your go-to meal or drink from the Club menu?

You can’t go wrong with the California Chicken Club and a side Caesar salad.

Q: Who or what inspires you in your work?

My daughter, Juliana. She’s my biggest motivation.

Q: If you could switch roles with anyone at the Club for a day, who would it be?

Someone in the back of house. I cook, they serve—so it would be fun to flip roles for a day!

Q: What’s one fun fact about you that members might not know?

I breed dubia roaches. Yep, really!

Q: What do you enjoy most about being part of the Woodbridge community?

We treat each other like family. It’s a special kind of community here.
