Matt Clarke President, ChillOut Daylesford Inc. On behalf of the ChillOut Festival committee, I welcome you all to our 27th festival – Boots & Bling!

We are so proud to be Australia’s longest running regional queer festival and this year’s edition sees us showcasing everything we know you love about ChillOut. Blend all of that with a gentle hint of old fashioned country charm and hospitality and you have the most special festival to share with those important to you.

I personally would like to thank the ChillOut Festival committee members themselves, who are all 100% volunteers and have worked tirelessly since April of last year to bring this festival to life. Each and every member has contributed so much to ensure you all have a fun and enjoyable yet safe time over the weekend so Pete, Meredith, Tom, Jacqui, Deb, Nell and Kaye, my biggest thank you and congratulations. We did it!

Have a wonderful time at ChillOut, whether it is your first time joining us or you have been before, we welcome you to our special part of the country for what is truly a celebration of all things queer country pride. Happy ChillOut 2024! As Australia’s largest queer country pride festival, every year ChillOut attracts tens of thousands to Daylesford, bringing an unmistakable energy to town.

On behalf of Hepburn Shire Council, I’d like to welcome you to the 2024 ChillOut Festival.

Beyond the significant value of the tourism boost the festival brings, it also reflects a key belief of the Victorian Government - no matter where you are in our state, from our beautiful regions to cosmopolitan city centres, equality is non-negotiable. That's why we’re proud to continue our support of the ChillOut Festival team, and the work they do to allow Australia’s rainbow communities to connect and celebrate our identities and experiences.

While you're here, I encourage you to dive headfirst into the stacked ChillOut 2024 festival and make the most of everything the team have programmed this year.

Everyone's favourite glitz, glam, masc, fem, disco loving drag king Sexy Galexy returns to ChillOut in 2024 with out-ofthis-world performances at Bush Dance and Carnival.

Since taking home the crown (and the hearts of audiences), of RuPaul’s Drag Race: Down Under S2, Spankie Jackzon hasn't stopped — and she'll keep that momentum going all festival weekend, popping up all over town to add a little extra glitz and glamour. After all, more is more.

Born with beats coursing through her veins, Kat Nughes, better known as DJ Du Jour has made a remarkable impact on dance floors all over Australia since winning the 2011 Sydney Mardi Gras DJ Competition.

Du Jour is a ChillOut regular and will have you throwing your hands in the air, and busting out your signature moves at 100% Dance, Pool Party and Carnival!

ChillOut Festival 2024

A special Boots and Bling hello from the ChillOut Festival committee! We are a small group of dedicated volunteers, who work all year to put on the ChillOut Festival each March. As soon as the sun goes down on one festival we start dreaming up the next festival theme. From there we get started on organising our acts and events, umbrella events, and all things that go towards making March long weekend a great time for our Queer Community to ChillOut. But that is not all we do.

Our Region ART AND CULTURE Daylesford wears its art on its sleeve.

Wander along the main thoroughfare of Vincent Street and you’ll see all kinds of small galleries, vintage stores and creative spaces along the way.

Convent Gallery Convent Gallery is a must-do in Daylesford. Once the Holy Cross Convent, it now houses a museum, multiple gallery spaces, a beautifully restored chapel, a café and a gift shop, all surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Black Gallery in Daylesford is a working artist studio and contemporary art gallery. This unique venue allows visitors to talk with and purchase art directly from the artist.
