My Stop-and-Think Tips

First, have a rest day in the week that is resting your mind. This is important because you could keep your body running, but if you stopped, you would be putting gas in a car. Since you didn't, now you have the potential of dealing with a car that's breaking down and not running again. Don't be afraid to do it tomorrow. Now don't get it twisted. I'm not saying you can keep pushing everything to the side. You are human, not a perfect mutant. Sometimes it also helps to take time to rest. Whether that's a day or an hour then come back with a fresh mind.

Use Pomodoro timers. They are a working timer technique of doing 25 minutes of work and then having a 5-minute break. Sometimes the times may vary depending on what you pick. I recommend it a lot because your mind has a moment of rest and for you to have a refreshed perspective on whatever you are doing.

Organize The Prize

You don't have to organize every little piece of your life, but you at least need a structure it to make sure you don't trip but have enough freedom to make little tweaks and changes in your everyday life.

My Organization Tips

Take time weekly to lay out things you will work on for the week. Put deadlines to make you accountable. Even include times of self-care or a self-care day. Then before you go to sleep or right when you wake up. Plan the things you're going to do today. I recommend it at night because it seems like the next day, your body already knows what to do. After all, you wrote it out. Here's my BIG recommendation for to-do lists. I learned this technique called the Eisenhower matrix/method.
