These are the software that will be that are used in this Introduction to Digital Media Skills course. They are really useful by its own way.

Multitrack, waveform, and spectral display are all included in Audition, which is a full set of tools for generating, mixing, editing, and recovering audio files. This advanced audio workstation is designed to accelerate video production and audio post-production, as well as provide a completed mix with crystal-clear sound.

Premiere Pro is able to perform all of the typical video editing operations required to create broadcast-quality, high-definition films. It can take video, audio, and graphics and convert them into new, altered versions of video that may then be distributed using the appropriate medium and format.

Adobe Photoshop is a photo editing, image creation, and graphic design software tool. This application includes several picture altering capabilities for both raster (pixel-based) and vector images. It employs a layer-based editing system that allows for picture creation and modification with many transparent overlays.

Adobe InDesign is an Adobe Inc. desktop publishing and page layout design application. Among other things, it may be used to create posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books, and ebooks.

Potrait Zombie Adobe Photoshop was used to create this piece.

This project largely relied on masking, color saturation, hues, and colour adjusestment.

Masked the backdrop in order to have the subject alone to move on a solid backgound. The subject face and also the eyses were quite heavyly edited to make it look older and more zombie-like.

Photo Mash-up Cats are popular, and this design was inspired by the band called Galantis as well as cats, and specifically, Bengal cat itself. Most of the idea comes from Pinterest and Google images of bizarre human-cat mashups.

The shot on the right was taken by JONTY photography and recreate to remix it by combining twelve pictures where it has been retrieve from multiple free sources/images.

Dragged the main photo which is the subject into Photoshop, and used a Cat Eye to modify the eyeballs. On this, quite a fair bit of masking was added to the layers, rotating it to suit where the eyes are, copying the layer, and fitting it to the other eye, nudging it to ensure the cat pupil is straight.

The Hue/Saturation, Blending Options, Curves, and minor touches on the skin tone were all adjusted.

Added an Eyeliner image and positioned it above the eyelids to have more punch to the subject’s eyes. Found a straight-on Bengal photo which will make retouching easy to suit the subject’s face. Quick selection tools were used to make a selection on the cat’s head, then Ctrl+J to create a new layer from the selection. Reduce the opacity of the cat face onto the subject’s face and use Masking Tools to edit in order to archive a Human Hybrid cat shot as desired.

Finding a Backgrounds and Surroundings to fill in artwork comes next such as Rocks,

Wall Stones, Ferns, and Jungle background.

Drag one image at a time and adjust the Levels and Filtering on the Camera Raw Filter.

There was some mild sunlight in the background image, to make it more vibrant and realistic, this was edited by going to Gradient Tool > Gradient Fill > Gradient Type to Noice. Roughness to a hundred. Set the color mode to LAB. To make it black and white, ‘A’ and ‘B’ dragged it to the center. ‘Randomize’ to suit.

Then, go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and tweak the Radius to suit. Create a new Hue/Saturation layer and tweak the colors. Repeat process but this time, Create a new Curves layer to modify the colors.

The theme of this entire artwork is the Bengal Cats, and the subject itself is the Queen of Bengal. Gathered a few photographs of Bengal Cats, and a couple of them are of fierce-looking Bengals, which fit the whole concept.

The challenge I faced was maintaining a consistent voice level and tone. Tried the punch and roll option to record at the beginning especially the “how are the players like” bit, but the recording button at the bottom was not recording, and the R button on the left where the letters ‘M,’ ‘S,’ ‘R,’ and ‘I’ were greyed out.

INTERVIEW

&

OVERVIEW PURPOSE

The purpose of this exercise is to capture sounds and edit the multitracmulti-tracky using Adobe Audition. Paul de Bruijn, the manager of SGNA, was interviewed to tell us about their coaches and training.

The recording of the interview was not perfect, and it was only done once in their training hall. The frequencies were too low as the audio was dragged into the editor, while others were too high and spiky. In stereo, the channels also had inconsistencies. To fix this, first, highlight the ones with low frequency, and adjust the amplitude to roughly equalize the level, then duplicate the right channel into the left channel to have both channels active. Edited the vocals to make them sound clearer by going to Effects > Amplitude Compressor > Dynamic Processing (and also) Normalize (process) and experimenting with the options there. The recording contained far too many “umms,” cathing or breath, and saliva slowing which had to be carefully removed.

NETBALL

AMBIENCE Downloaded a netball sports hall ambiance from free sound effect and it was 31 seconds long and had it looped to suit the whole entire track.

Music

The music was downloaded from Singapore Netball Academy’s YouTube channel and converted to MP3 with the manager’s permission. Fade in and out was used before and after the speech began, as well as to set a cue for the transit to fade back into music.

Story Boarding

A full-time working woman who is also a part-time degree seeker attempting to juggle job and school while meeting assignment deadlines due in 2359 and attempting to hurry through to make the deadline.

PRE-PLANNED OF THE VIDEO

Prior to beginning to shoot a video, it is very important to have a strategy in place. A storyboard is a graphic depiction of a movie sequence that divides the action into separate panels. It shows how a video sequence will play out. A storyboard is a comic book-style layout that serves as a test run for your completed film, video, or ad. Refer to the left page for the screen-grab storybard.

POST-PLANNED OF HE VIDEO

The editing process had snags, and this was the second clips, not the first. Trimming, fades, audio changes for strong surround effects, scaling, panning, and positing are all part of the finished film.

MAKING THE VIDEO

Film the video at home, where they may be shot several times with the drawback of limited space. This movie was created using camera stands and self-holding.

Singapore Netball Academy provides Netball programs for players in the aged 5 to 17 in specific programs for their age. The programs are designed to give these players the skills and knowledge to bring their game to the next level.
