Remembrance Day Monday, November 11, 11am Woodland Grove, Wodonga At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, one minute of silence is observed across the country to mark the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front during WWI. Remembrance Day in Australia commemorates the noble sacrifices of armed forces and civilians during times of war.

Sustainable Living Festival 2019 Various activities Saturday, November 16 to Sunday, November 24 We’ll be kicking things off on Novemeber 16 with the Sustainable Living Fair from 8am to 1pm at Gateway Village. A fun and interactive day featuring farmers market stalls, sustainability exhibitors, free workshops, activities, information hubs, kids fun, and great food and entertainment.

Sewing Classes for Kids Friday, November 22 - Christmas present Friday, December 13 - Christmas skirt Make a Christmas gift for someone! Your child will build up their basic sewing machine skills by making simple items.

They will make two to three projects over the sessions. They may bring their own sewing machine or use one of ours. Our small class numbers means each student receives lots of personalised attention.

Join us each Friday for coffee/tea, discussion and activities, and our special guest ‘TAZ’, a therapy dog. We aim to make this an inclusive, respectful environment for people to connect with one another.

Designed to provide young people an opportunity to develop life skills. These days will be a partnership between Wodonga Council, local businesses and youth service providers. All workshops will be hands on.
