Baranduda Community Centre Welcome to 2020. We are excited about the new year and all the great new programs happening in 2020 following a very successful 2019. A few highlights from 2019 were the Easter Egg Hunt, Kids Disco and Halloween. These events increased our participation numbers to the centre and we saw a lot of new faces as well as our regulars. I look forward to running some of these fun events again. I am proud of this community and how they engage and promote the local events and actively looking at ideas for the growth of the community. Fridays on My Mind came to Baranduda with a bang! What a hit and it was great having this event in Baranduda. The Village Early Education Centre childcare has moved to their new location in Glenwood Estate. We wish the team all the best in their new location. We will miss the families and children coming to the community centre but we will make sure we keep in touch with all our upcoming programs. – Stacey Baranduda Community Centre co-ordinator

Felltimber Community Centre 2020 is here and we are ready for another great year ahead. We cannot wait to see everyone as the term commences. Last year was the year of creating new friendships, learning, sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying delicious food through various events and activities. We will have a great range of activities on offer again and we will welcome many new organisations and groups to the centre as they offer their programs from here, too. Make this your year to get involved, make new friends and learn new skills, and become a part of the Felltimber family! Follow us on Facebook to keep up-to-date with all our events. Felltimber is supporting Neighbour Day on Sunday, March 29 with this year’s theme social connection. This is a fantastic initiative which aims to get people thinking about how they can put their energy into creating positive and meaningful social connections with people outside of their normal groups and relationships. There are many Australians struggling with loneliness and this is a great way to get out of the house and meet new people in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. We will showcase local organisations that provide opportunities to connect socially with others, along with a variety of activities for all ages and a delicious barbecue lunch. - Amanda Felltimber Community Centre co-ordinator
