Hixon Center The Law School celebrated the dedication of the James A. and Robin L. Hixon Center for Experiential Learning and Leadership in 2017, and the wing now serves as the hub for the essential skills training our students need to thrive in their practices. Made possible by a leadership gift from James A. Hixon ’79, M.L.T. ’80, the Center provides vital space for our ten clinics, Legal Practice Program, trial and appellate training, and leadership activities. Major funding was

A number of new and renovated spaces have come online in the past decade at the nation’s oldest law school. Here is a sampling. The Penny Commons has proven to be a versatile addition to our campus since it opened in 2017. This ample, light-filled space links the entrance hall, North Wing and Hixon Center, and is a popular spot for student events, celebrations and receptions. The commons was named in honor of James D. Penney ’83 and Pamela Jordan Penny HON ’16 to recognize their generous support.
