HERADVANCE 2023

BUILDING A NETWORK OF LEADERS

To foster leadership in business, government, and non-profit organizations, that reflects the entire community.
Welcome to this year’s Women’s Leadership Conference of Southern Oregon!
It's hard to believe that it has already been a decade since we first started working together to achieve our vision: Working collaboratively to empower, educate, and develop emerging leaders to impact our community and achieve equality.
Today, we challenge you to lean into our vision, to build a network of empowered women who lift each other up and inspire one another to achieve greatness.
Networking is about building relationships and finding common ground to discover ways to help one another grow and succeed. Mentoring is investing in someone else's growth and development; it's about being a role model and a source of inspiration for someone, no matter where they are in their journey.
By sharing our knowledge and experience, we will create a supportive community that empowers us all to reach our full potential. By Building a Network of Leaders to AdvanceHER, we will ensure that women are prepared to lead and be represented at all levels of society.
TODAY, WE CHALLENGE YOU TO LEAN INTO OUR VISION TO BUILD A NETWORK OF EMPOWERED WOMEN

WLC created this program to inspire a more diverse group of individuals to step into leadership roles for a more ethical and equitable society.
This is a 6-month program that matched mentors to mentees through an application and interview process. The program started in February and ends in July 2023.
A key focus in women’s leadership is greater boardroom diversity so our organizations can better address key challenges in equity.
