Automatic wheelset tractor THE WHEELSET TRACTOR ENABLES THE AUTOMATED MOVEMENT OF WHEELSETS OF VARIOUS TYPES AND SHAPES, WITH AND WITHOUT ATTACHED COMPONENTS, TRACK-GUIDED BETWEEN THE INDIVIDUAL WORK STATIONS FROM THE START TO THE FINISH OF THE PROCESS . This innovative transport system can be used on existing workshop tracks at ground level or on the elevated track in heavy and light maintenance workshops for wheel sets. For loading, unloading, exchange or work in processing machines, the tractor can be coupled or uncoupled to/from the wheel set.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
The wheelset tractor is a self-propelled unit which (in the automatic version) is controlled by position-based control and start/stop signals, which are transmitted by the programmable controller via NFC.
CONFIGURATIONS
The drives are designed as hub drive or with slip-on gear. They can be configured with gear or as direct drive.
SMART SOLUTION
The tractor can be equipped with RFID. When merging with the wheelset, the wheelset number, order number and axle orientation can be entered at a terminal. Now the wheelset can be tracked through the whole process. Error messages and messages for preventive maintenance are also possible.
