《會》去蕪存菁，揭示在律動中身心表達的迷人之處。作品結合了兩位澳洲 藝術家的特色所在：Antony Hamilton 充滿力量的舞蹈編排與 Alisdair Macindoe 令人著迷的機械操作，造就一次回歸基本的舞蹈探索。 兩位表演者與 64 台機械化的敲擊樂器共享空間。一系列持續不斷的活動展 開，身體進入一種狀態：物理層面的強化、心理層面的流動，所有動作都 是由機械化的節奏所帶動，猶如冥想中的脈搏。 Hamilton 獨特的身體語彙，配合 Macindoe 特製的樂器，構成一個純粹的 演出。《會》將身體、空間及機械打造成一個既富有力量又不失趣味的舞蹈 聲音裝置。 此作品剛榮獲 2017 紐約舞蹈及表演藝術獎（The Bessies）「最佳製作」 及「最佳作曲 / 音響設計」，並已巡迴十多個歐美及亞洲國家。

MEETING reveals a fascination with the articulation of the body and mind in motion. A choreographic study stripped to the bare essentials, the work pairs Antony Hamilton’s compulsive choreography with Alisdair Macindoe’s obsessive machine-making practice.

The two performers share space with 64 robotic percussion instruments.

A relentless stream of activity unfolds, where the bodies enter states of heightened physical and mental agency, with all actions carried by the meditative pulse of the machine beat.

A focused recital, with Hamilton’s unique physical grammar and Macindoe’s bespoke musical instrument making, MEETING composes the body, the space and the robots into a dynamic and riveting choreographic sound installation.

MEETING is awarded the “Outstanding Production” and “Outstanding Musical Composition/Sound Design” of the 2017 New York Dance and Performance Awards (The Bessies). This work has been toured to over 12 countries across Europe, North America and Asia.

ANTONY HAMILTON is an Australian choreographer. His multi-award winning performances involve a sophisticated melding of movement, sound and visual design. As a dancer, he has worked extensively throughout Australia and overseas, predominantly with Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin Inc and Australian Dance Theatre (ADT). As a Choreographer, he has worked both in Australia and abroad creating works for The Lyon Opera Ballet, Chunky Move, ADT, Dancenorth, LINK, The Victorian College of the Arts, Stompin, Rogue, Skanes Dansteater, Campbelltown Arts Centre and The New Zealand School of Dance.

Antony's independent works include Blazeblue Oneline (2008), Drift (2010), Black Project 1 (2012), Black Project 2 (2013), MEETING (2015), NYX (2015) and Number of the Machine (2017).

His major commissions include Natural Orders (Dancemakers Toronto, 2017), Crazy Times (Sydney Dance Company, 2017), Sentinel (Skanes Dansteater, 2016), Keep Everything (Chunky Move 2012), RGB (ADT 2010), Black Project 3 (Lyon Opera Ballet, 2010) and I Like This (co-directed by Byron Perry for Chunky Move 2008).

Antony was inaugural recipient of the Russell Page Fellowship in 2004, the Tanja Liedtke Fellowship in 2009, the Australia Council for the Arts Creative Australia Fellowship in 2012 and the Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship in 2014. In 2014, he was the guest dance curator at The National Gallery of Victoria and was Honorary Resident Director of Lucy Guerin Inc in 2013. Antony has received three Helpmann Award nominations for Best Ballet or Dance Work (for Black Project 1 & 2, Keep Everything and MEETING), winning in 2013 for Black Project 1 & 2. ALISDAIR MACINDOE is a Melbourne-based dancer and choreographer who trained in dance at the Victorian College of the Arts. He has performed in work by Chunky Move (Assembly, Connected, Two Faced Bastard, Black Marrow, I Like This and Keep Everything), Lucy Guerin Inc. (Structure and Sadness, Human Interest Story, Untrained, Weather, Conversation Piece), Antony Hamilton Projects (Blood and Bone, Drift), Stephanie Lake (DUAL), Leigh Warren and dancers (Seven), Nat Cursio Co. (The Album Project), Cobie Orger (Human_Edit), Stone / Castro (Blackout) and his own works (Bromance, 525600LOVE and Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain).

Alisdair was the recipient of the 2013 Helpmann Award for Best Male Dancer (for DUAL) and the 2012 and 2016 Green Room Award for Best Male Dancer (nominated in 2008 and 2013). He also received the 2004 Friends of the VCA Scholarship. Alisdair is a self-taught sound designer, composer and instrument builder.

His credits for sound design include works by Antony Hamilton, Chunky Move's Next Move Program, Lucy Guerin Inc's Pieces for Small Spaces, Australian Dance Theatre's Ignition Tour, STOMPIN, Yellow Wheel, The VCA, Second Toe and his own works 525600LOVE and Bromance.

From 2010-13 Alisdair composed and produced 3 albums of music for the Australian Teachers of Dancing Contemporary / Modern syllabus for use in dance training and examination. He has won 3 consecutive Green Room Awards Dance Composition for Black Project 2 (2014), Princess (2015) and MEETING (2016).

He has worked for companies and festivals in Australia and around the world. These projects vary from independent works, to major festival installations. She has designed for Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC), Lyon Opera Ballet, Victorian Opera, Australian Dance Theatre (ADT), Danceworks, Dancehouse, TasDance, DanceNorth, Red Stitch Actor’s Theatre and La Mama. She has designed costumes for Chunky Move (Two Faced Bastard, Mortal Engine, GLOW, Singularity, I Want to Dance Better at Parties), Lucy Guerin Inc (Human Interest Story, Corridor, Structure & Sadness, Aether), Antony Hamilton Projects (Black Project 2 & 3, Drift, RGB, I Like This, Blazeblue Oneline) and KAGE (Sundowner, Headlock, Nowhere Man, Costume/Concept Design for Australian Resident Company at World Expo, Japan).

She has also worked internationally for the Edinburgh Fringe and London Film Festivals, and for pervasive games producer, Hide&Seek.

She now works exclusively with independent artists Antony Hamilton, Melanie Lane, Stephanie Lake and Tamara Saulwick, and provides consultancy for a number of Australian arts companies including Lucy Guerin Inc and Chamber Made.
