Returning to JCCHS between 10AM and 11AM on Friday, June 2nd *we will call with a specific time when we leave camp Don’t forget to pack: - sleeping bag/sheets and pillow - toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, soap - personal grooming items (hairbrush, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.) - towels/wash cloths - dirty clothes bag or trash bag - clothes you can get muddy (including shoes) - extra shoes in case one pair gets wet *Note: Because of the hills, you cannot wear flip flops during the day at camp, but you can wear them to the dances each night. - Spending money for snacks/drinks, craft shop items, etc. - clothes to change into for the dance (not dressy clothes…just something different than the sweaty clothes you’ve been wearing all day☺) - sunscreen! You do NOT want to be sunburnt on the first day of camp and miserable for the rest of the week….TRUST ME! You are representing Jackson County, West Jackson Middle School, your parents, and me, April Davis! Please understand that we all expect for your to behave appropriately, follow the dress code, and listen to instructions from any adult including other ag teachers and camp staff. Can you take your cell phone? Yes, but please know that we are at camp to have fun, make friends, and build leadership skills, and all of those things are hard to do with a phone in your hand. ☺ Also, the only person in charge of your cell phone is YOU! No other teacher will watch it, hold it for your, or help you look for it if you “lose” it. ☺ Cabin Assignments: Girls will stay in the cabin with Mrs. Davis, Sarah Holmes (EJMS), Taylor Brown (Jefferson Middle) as well as EJMS and JMS members and, if space allows, JCCHS and JHS girls will stay as well. Boys will stay in the cabin with Micah Story and Shannon Lawrence (JCCHS) as well as boys from EJMS, JMS, JCCHS and JHS.
