Unknown Facts About Marvel's New SpiderMan: Tom Holland Celebrities It is not a regular affair when there comes a lad in Hollywood, who the teens look to emulate, the women seem to adore and most men can't get enough of.

Any guesses as to who might be the latest addition to the bandwagon of boys who never fail to impress? Heck Yeah! we are talking about Thomas Stanley 'Tom' Holland on the special occasion of the Homecoming star's 21st birthday.

The British sensation has taken showbiz by storm ever since he arrived onto the scene by playing the title role in Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre, London. Soon after, Holland was cast in the film The Impossible, alongside Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor which released in 2012 touting him a talent to watch as one of 2013's Breakthrough Brits at the Baftas.

This charmingly vulnerable star boy achieved global fame when he found out that he was selected to play Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through social media a month after his audition in 2015.

We first saw him as Spider-Man in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, and later this summer he’ll be getting a film all to himself in Spider-Man: Homecoming. But before any of that, here is a look at some of the unknown facts of the newly christened 21-year-old:

Tom Holland was born on June 1, 1996, in Kingston upon Thames, London to Nicola Elizabeth, a photographer, and Dominic Holland, a tv comedian and author.

At 20, he became the youngest actor to play Spiderman (Andrew Garfield was 29 and Tobey Maguire was 27) in Captain America: Civil War before his solo Marvel gig, Spider-Man: Homecoming releases on July 7, 2017.

Chris Hemsworth actually helped him land up the role of Peter Parker by putting in a good word for him to the Marvel Studios. Tom also went on to get wet on the boat with Thor in the drama 'In The Heart Of The Sea' .

Tom's dad has written a book called, "How Tom Holland Eclipsed His Dad" which is in essence oddly endearing yet embarrassingly funny as he has openly expressed about his boy's career.
