OUR CREED: Everyone is a superhero No matter the Villain or even the obstacle facing or standing against us. Each person has within them the key of supernatural powers to overcome, to prevail and win. But the difference between a superhero who rises and prevails … is one who trains, doesn’t quit and one who doesn’t fight alone. Captain America - had the heart, but had to go through a painful process to be stronger to fight. Wonder Woman – had to overcome limiting stereotypes from the point of her creation and her upbringing.

Through Christ I became a Superhero. He gave me victory over every villain in my life. Now, it’s your turn. It’s time for victory over all things.

Hulk – had to overcome his alter ego. (The beast within) The Black Widow – had to overcome her venomous past. Flash Gordon – (the real one) had to escape imprisonment by Ming the Merciless to save the Universe. Batman – had to overcome his dark side. The Green Arrow – had to overcome his anger and vengeance to become a

beacon of hope. Superman - had to own and accept that he was different, powerful and destined to save and lead others.

Don’t wait! Whatever it takes…become a Super Hero NOW.

I KNEW THERE HAD TO BE MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS.

7 Things you must know when receiving Christ as your Lord and Savior

#1 -

We are all born into sin Scripture PSALM 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity. And in sin my mother conceived me

I JOHN 1:8-10 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

“prayer ” Father forgive me. I’m a sinner. I have lived a life without You, so my life has been guided and influenced by things, hurts and pains that aren’t of You. Father, I choose You today. I choose to live with You and a life for You. I receive You into my heart as my Lord and Savior.

Sin leads to death

Father, I know that all sin leads to death. I confess and repent of all my sins to You today. I know that when we don’t confess our sins, ask for forgiveness, and turn away from that sin, we are still living in sin. The consequence of that sin is death, and we will be judged individually for our sins.

Scripture ROMANS 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned. ROMANS 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ROMANS 6:6-8 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. Jeremiah 17:10 “I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Thank you, Father, that You give me grace and judge my heart, my intentions, and my actions. However, I know my actions lead to judgment and consequences.

Because God loved you He sent his only Son to be born as man, to walk the Earth, to be persecuted, sentenced to death, and crucified on a cross at Calvary. Scripture JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. I JOHN 4:9 This is how God showed his love

among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

“Prayer ” Father, thank you for Your love. Thank you that You loved me even if I was unable to love myself. Thank you that You see me as worthy even if I feel worthless. Thank you for giving me hope in times that I feel hopeless. And thank you Father, that You bring light, eternal light, into darkness which is death. Thank you for not only being my Father but being my Savior. Thank you for saving me from a life of death. Thank you for making me a new creation and giving me life.

He was the sacrificial lamb whose blood shed was the price for our sins. Through his blood our sins have been forgiven. Scripture I John 2:1-2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. I John 2:12 …because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name. I John 1:7 …and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

“Prayer ” Jesus, renew me today and everyday. Wash me clean with Your blood that was shed. Wash my iniquities away. Make me whole and make me new. Wash me new of even the things that I do not see that are within me. Allow Your blood to transition within me as my blood transitions out. May Your blood flow through my mind, my body and my spirit. May Your blood take authority over my life to protect me, to teach me, to speak to me, guide me and to give me Your power to defeat my sinful nature.

Jesus died on the cross and rose on the third day. His resurrection proves that He defeated death. Scripture I Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures… Matthew 28:6 He is not here, for he has risen, just as He said. “Come, see the place where He was lying. Acts 2:24” – But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.

“Prayer ”

Father, thank you for salvation and eternal life with You. For I know that my body will expire one day. I am grateful that my name has now been written in the Book of Life. I know that at such time, I will be reborn into a spiritual body and will ascend into Heaven to be joined with You. Thank you, Father that You have gone before me and have prepared a place for me in Heaven with You.

The Resurrection of Christ was witnessed by over 500 people before He ascending to Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God. Scripture Mark 16:9 Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. I Corinthians 15:6-7 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same

time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Acts 1:9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

“Prayer ” Father, thank you that the tomb is empty. I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that He rose again from the grave, ascended into Heaven, and sits at Your right-hand petitioning for Your people. Thank you for the great crowd of witnesses that continue to speak to His resurrection daily.

Only through your belief in Jesus can Salvation and Eternal life be received. Scripture 1 John 4:13-16 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:13-16 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

“ Prayer” Lord, I believe in You. I love You. Not because I’ve known You, but because You have known me. Not because I’m worthy, but because You are worthy. Not because of who I am, but because of who You are, and what You have done for me. Lord, I lift up Your name, and I thank You for loving me beyond and above all things. My life is Yours.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was
