Farmshed wants all people to know their farmers and support them by purchasing local foods. EBT machines are offered at several local farmers’ markets to allow Food Share (WI food stamp program) participants to use their benefits on locally produced foods. This program puts healthy food on their tables, dollars in our farmers’ pockets, and federal money flowing through the local economy. Many vendors at area markets also accept WIC/Senior Farmers Market Vouchers, so watch for signs or contact your market’s manager with questions.
