This will be a ‘bumper year’ for dedicated ‘Trailers’! The panel selected from a higher number than ever and then had to fit all 138 selected artists into 65 venues. It has been a challenge especially because we had a high standard of applications this year, with a wide yet balanced range of work. You will find them across the town tucked into a variety of venues both tiny and generous, singly or in groups. We have new venues too: the Eco Centre and Anthony Gell School, extending the trail and offering more possibilities for the future. You can wind up and down the ginnells looking over the roofs and gardens, and you can meet the artists and designers in the intimacy of those people’s homes whose generosity and enthusiasm make the Trail the intriguing delight that it always is.
