Difficult Love is an intimate, thought-provoking portrait of internationally celebrated South African lesbian photographer, Zanele Muholi. This poignant documentary takes us behind the façade of art making, and forces us to confront the intersection of race, class, gender, and sexuality, all through Muholi’s lush photography.
Tales of the Waria is a moving portrait of a community that dares to live differently from the norm, despite what consequences may await them. This documentary interweaves the stories of several waria — biological men who live as women in Indonesia — who make extraordinary sacrifices for love.
