Our curated summer program offers exciting academic enrichment and skill development opportunities for students, grades 4-12, with learning differences. Make this summer impactful by ensuring your child is ready to take on the next school year with confidence.
Program Options Morning Academic Program: Within the Morning Academic Program, each student is enrolled in four (4) academic classes each day: Language & Literature, History,Scienc, Math. Parents may choose to enroll their child in either: Encoding/Decoding class (learning the rules of spelling/syllabication/ reading) or Reading Comprehension class (understanding what is read).
July Focus Program: Within the July Focus Program parents have the option to enroll their child in 45-minute sessions that meet twice a week or daily 45-minute sessions Monday-Thursday. Parents also have the option to enroll their child in 90-minute sessions daily Monday-Thursday. Also within the July Focus Program, specific skills can be targeted for development (e.g., decoding, written language expression, mathematical computation, organizational skills, etc.) or specific content areas can be specified for study (e.g., American History, Chemistry, Algebra, etc.)
After school Art Class: After school extracurricular class focusing on the arts with the option to meet twice weekly Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday, daily Monday through Thursday June 30th -Juy 24th.
August Online Focus Program:
Focus based on Winston Prep’s innovative Focus Program, students participate in one-to-one sessions with a trained specialist to develop strategies to improve academic performance in specific areas of need.
