CHIZZLED CHAD HAS BECOME WPW'S MOST HATED WRESTLER
"Chizzled" Chad Daniels has everything going for him. Youth, an incredible physique, raw talent and unlimited potential. One thing Chizzled Chad doesn't have is the support of WPW's loyal fanbase The minute Daniels enters, WPW fans are sure to let him know what they think, with some vulgar curse-laden chants that are not fit to publish in this magazine. How does Chad handle the negativity? By winning.
Chizzled Chad has been under the tutelage of former champion AJ Sanchez for a year, helping the Big Punisher retain his WPW Championship over and over and racking up spectacular wins of his own At WPW ONCE UPON A TIME, Daniels picked up a massive singles win over standout Storm Grayson Before that, he teamed with O'Doyle to defeat the tandem of Munchin' Cheeks, all while blocking out the resounding hatred and vitriol from the WPW fans. The duo of Daniels and Sanchez seems unstoppable but they face their biggest challenge yet in a returning Tyler Colton at WPW FIGHT AT THE MUSEUM!
AJ SANCHEZ'S HARASSMENT OF JAMES KORBA COMES TO AHEAD THIS APRIL
At WPW FIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, fans will see the culmination of a rivalry that has spanned four years and an entire Championship reign. For several months, The Big Punisher had been harassing WPW General Manager James Korba, lobbying insults, physically threatening him and even acosting the GM while he was playing VLTs at the Sherbrook Inn
In retaliation the WPW GM forced Sanchez to team up with longtime rival Tyler Colton to take on IMPACT Tag Champs the North, with Sanchez taking the pinfall. This led to the creation of the WPW Championship, which would finally pit Colton and Sanchez against each other one-on-one In the final moments, AJ Sanchez landed a devastating belt-shot to the Canadian Hercules and forced GM James Korba to count the three, awarding his bitter rival the WPW Championship.
Unfortunately for James Korba, the abuse and harassment didn't stop there. For the next three years, Sanchez insulted and confronted the WPW GM until both men found themselves in the ring during the WPW Championship match at COLD OUT James donned a referee's shirt, counted the three and awarded Bobby Schink the WPW Championship, much to the dismay of Sanchez. At WPW ONCE UPON A TIME, Tyler Colton finally returned, challenging Sanchez to a match. Sanchez accepted this challenge in the form of a tag team match where he could pick the partner and he selected JAMES KORBA! At WPW FIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, it will be AJ Sanchez and Chad Daniels teaming up against Tyler Colton and James Korba in what will certainly by a battle for the ages
The path to the WPW Championship wasn't easy for Sweet Bobby Schink but to say he never gave up would be a huge understatement The new WPW Champion was faced with obstacles and barriers that we had yet to see in a WPW ring. Bobby earned his shot at the WPW Championship in September by defeating Michael Richard Blais at DON'T TELL MOM and went on to challenge AJ Sanchez in front of 1,000 fans at GOING BROADWAY Unfortunately for Sweet Bobby, WPW's resident Big Punisher, AJ Sanchez, picked up the win utilizing his favourite move, the low blow. Sanchez then forced Schink to face his protégé, Chizzled Chad Daniels. If Schink won, he'd get a title shot; if he lost, he'd have to leave WPW...FOREVER. Fortunately for WPW fans, Schink picked up the win and would face Sanchez one-on-one at WPW COLD OUT Schink was able to hit his top rope leg drop and finally reach the mountain top as WPW Champion, a moment WPW fans will never forget.

Let's take a look at some more accolades the Real Deal has racked up!
In less than 60 seconds, Roth completed a 500lb deadlift, 400lb squat, 300lb bench press, 200lb overhead press and 100lb curl. He managed over 21,000 burpees during the 2022 calendar year and even ran a four minute and 10 second mile. He walked into a Provincial Strongman Tournament with no training and ended up in 2nd place! Could there be WPW Championship gold next up for the Real Deal?
Fans have quickly become acquainted with the Strongest Man in East St. Paul, James Roth. Picking up wins against GPA, Sweet Daddy Soul and the monstrous O'Doyle, "The Real Deal" has solidified himself as one of the top wrestlers in WPW today. But fans are wondering... what drives a man like this to push himself to the brinks of human physical limitations? The determination to be the very best.
An athlete his entire life, Roth was selected 3rd in the WHL Draft and parlayed his success into the world of professional wrestling. "The Real Deal" pulls no punches in his quest to stand alone at the top of the WPW food chain.
WPW REFEREES ASK FOR MORE PROTECTION AMID VIOLENT ATTACKS
The job of a Winnipeg Professional Wrestling referee isn't easy. The dedicated men that don the stripes face many challenges, including being in the middle of vicious battles and maintaining composure during high stress situations and counting up to ten.
"We enter and exit that ring as an authority with the sole purpose of maintaining law and order from bell to bell. These countless intentional and targeted attacks continue to put myself and my colleagues in significant danger. These assaults will not stand. Our hand has been forced and we have officially filed grievances with the Union."
Increased pressure from the referee's union has led to the suspension of "The Jacked Jesus" Tommy Lee Curtis, costing him his shot at the WPW Championship at FIGHT AT THE MUSEUM.
The WPW Board of Directors will be keeping a keen eye on the treatment of its officials and we at WPW Magazine have been told that more suspensions and fines will come down if further abuse continues!
