The original WAG building remains one of Winnipeg’s most distinguished event venues. Eckhardt Hall features soaring ceilings and a backdrop of Manitoba Tyndall Stone. The Skylight Gallery illuminates intimate events with stunning art on view. The seasonal Rooftop Sculpture Garden boasts incredible views in the city, where guests can take in fresh air and entertainment, easily moving outdoors from the adjacent Penthouse Foyer. CREATIVE EXPERIENCES TO COMPLEMENT YOUR DAY Add artmaking to your event itinerary with help from the experienced WAG Studio artists. The Gallery is equipped to host your artmaking gettogether with our ClayMaker and Paint Party options to celebrate and create in the lead-up to or during your special event. ClayMaker // For 6-12 people Select the ClayMaker that suits your group and the WAG Studio’s ceramic artist instructor will guide you through the rest. Finished pieces will be fired and available for pick up 2 weeks after class. pricing based on number of participants Paint Parties // For up to 48 participants Gather your friends and family, pick the Paint Party that suits you, and WAG Studio’s artist instructor will have you creating a unique painting you can bring home with you! pricing based on number of participants Interested in creating art with a larger group? Our education team can put together a custom craft table that adds a memorable element to any event. pricing ranges from $1-$10/person.
Creative Workshops 60 min. Minimum of 20. Led by a WAG Facilitator or Studio Instructor. • Collage Party: Explore endless possibilities as you cut, paste, and create a funky collage. • ClayMaker: Create a piece of claywork with a ceramic artist. • Paint Party: Play with geometric patterns or moonstones and take home your art. • Scavenger Hunts Teams of 5-8. Choose one option: • DIY Challenge: 20 min. // $18 per person. Minimum of 20. Activity kit includes team scavenger sheets, rules sheet, and large timer. • Ultimate Challenge: 60 min. // $35 per person. Minimum of 25.
