1. Roka and Thaka Roka is the first wedding ceremony for the couple. Roka is derived from the word rokna. That means now couples are not allowed to look for any other possibilities. Now they are a team. In the thaka ceremony, both the families of the bride and groom present gifts, sweets and gifts to the couple.

2. Chunni Ceremony In this ceremony, the family members of the groom went to the bride’s home and give her jewelry, gifts, sweets and saree or lehenga which must be red in color. The red color chunni of the outfit is placed over the head of the bride.

3. Engagement Engagement ceremony takes place on the same day of chunni ceremony. This ceremony is mostly a private function. In this ceremony, couples exchange rings and guests showers gifts or shagun to the bride & groom.
