Festival Bank System

Wayver

Wayver is a festival bank system that helps reduce queues at stalls, improves access control, and supports the health and safety of all personal on-site. No wine or food stall will accept cash or Eftpos.

How Does Wayver Work?

1. A wristband will be given to you when you scan your ticket to the festival. The RFID chip inside your wristband holds your money.

2. You can top up your wristband with cash or via Eftpos, Visa or MasterCard at the Festival Banks located inside the festival. The first time you top up there will be a once-off service fee of $1.50. The maximum top-up at any one time is $300.

3. All food and wine sites at the festival will have a scanner to read your wristband to deduct funds from your account and tell you the balance.

How can I check my balance?

Each wine and food site will be able to show you your balance after every transaction. The Festival Banks located inside the festival can also tell you your balance.

How do I get a refund?

Stop by the Festival Banks again to refund any remaining credit left on your wristband. If you forget, you can also claim your refund online up to four weeks after the event, but online refund fees will apply. For refunds / terms and conditions visit www.wayver.io

Peter’s eclectic style of cuisine has had a global reach – he’s cooked for Barack Obama. In March 2020 Peter moved home to New Zealand and launched Homeland, a restaurant, cooking school and food embassy to support New Zealand producers. Peter has had many TV appearances both in the UK and NZ; most recently he presented Native Kitchen and was a judge of The Great Kiwi Bake Off.
