Since 1814, J. Moreau & Fils has been challenging the terroir of Chablis to bring out an exceptional expression of the Chardonnay grape; the only varietal grown here.
In 1814 Jean-Joseph Moreau, a young cooper, married a local winemaker’s daughter and inherited the oldest wine House of Chablis. Driven by passion for the vine and traditional values, he successfully ran the business and quickly became one of the most important producers of wine in Chablis. He was a pioneer in the region and his success continued to rise.
Over the years, J. Moreau & Fils established itself on the international market and became a prestigious House, successful worldwide.
Since 1814, J. Moreau & Fils has been rising to the challenge of the Chablis terroir to bring out the very best of its single grape varietal, Chardonnay, in pursuit of its signature white wines that are complex, elegant, and precisely balanced.
1: J. Moreau & Fils boasts a strong commitment to vine management, an accurate vinification and a careful and protective ageing.
Crossed by the Serein, the vineyard of Chablis was truly flourishing in the 12th century thanks to the Cistercian monks who proved their passion and skills in crafting great wines. And it is both a glorious and unfortunate destiny that the vineyard has experienced since that time. Totally destroyed by the phylloxera in 1893, the vineyard was completely recovered and now stands as a nature’s masterpiece.
The specific soil of the Chablis vineyard, inherited from the presence of the sea in the Mesozoic era, gives the wine a iodine hint and a particular mineralty that seduces the whole world.
2: The style of J. Moreau & Fils wines lead to subtle minerality and intense fruitiness, structure and aromatic complexity.
3: 200 years of bringing Burgundy to the world

“A beautiful home for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay” United by a river, the Saone, and a common history, the lands of Jura and Burgundy are one. Before the Jurassic Period, this vast region was bathed by the ocean for more than 200 million years.
It contains the same marine sediments that enrich the same marls, clays and limestones. The Jurassic vineyard goes back more than 5,000 years, while the first writings attesting to the existence of a vineyard on the coast dates back to 312. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Burgundy grape varieties, thus found in the Jura a beautiful land of welcome with an expression of freshness due to the altitude.
1: Domaine Maire holds claim to the discovery of this unique region, with its own specialized grapes and wines, including local Jura oak.
2: Elegance: Emphasis on the geologic and historic connections between Burgundy and Jura, with the freshness of increased altitude.
3: As the largest producer and landowner in Jura, Domaine Maire is at the forefront of Jura wines.

Exactitude, respect, and transparency are the crucial principles of our philosophy which is applicable to the entire winemaking process from vine growing, to vinification, and maturing to sales. Our constant concern is for quality and excellence.
The spirit of Mommessin is the harsh selection of the vines, the choice of the best plots and the work in partnership with the winegrowers.
The spirit of Mommessin is the use of integrated vine growing and winemaking techniques. Respect for nature through the restriction of the use of plant health products and yield control using ‘green harvesting’ strict pruning and budding.
1: Delightful Region: The House is located in the heart of Beaujolais, at the foot of Mont Brouilly.
Our House is now located in the heart of Beaujolais, at the foot of Mont Brouilly.
The Beaujolais region is a symphony of landscapes which please the eye and the senses. The beautiful hills, which welcome the vineyards, are reminiscent of the Toscane region.
On this place of exception, Mommessin made a king of the Gamay varietal, which unveils its rich and varied taste expressions. This varietal contributes to the assertion of a genuine Beaujolais terroir.
The average altitude is combined with a northern climate, particularly favorable, and the vine is rooted in the heart of the rock.
2: A Unique Varietal: As a welldemarcated terroir, Beaujolais is closely identified with the Gamay grape that reigns here as an undisputed master.
3: A Terroir of Exception: The subsoils are mainly made of a very old decomposed granite rock, similar to that of the Alps and it is perfectly suited to this lively varietal called Gamay.

DeLoach Vineyards strives to produce distinctive wines that highlight unique terroirs in a socially and environmentally responsible way through practicing sustainable viticulture and minimally intrusive winemaking.
DeLoach Vineyards is a pioneering producer of awardwinning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel wines from California with an emphasis on the Russian River Valley in the heart of Sonoma County.
DeLoach’s dedicated and enthusiastic team has over 45 years of experience experimenting with the perfect combination of soil, rootstock, and clones, resulting in a history of high-quality, eco-friendly wines. DeLoach follows traditional French winemaking techniques imbued with those of California to capture the spirit of French Heritage with California Roots, producing exceptional and award-winning wines that spotlight the personality of the Russian River Valley and California terroir.
1. For over three decades, DeLoach has pioneered the growth and vinification of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley.
The Russian River Valley was originally purchased by Russian fur hunters from the Pomo Native American Tribe in 1812 in hopes of establishing a trade port. They first planted grapes in 1836 in what is today Graton, in the Russian River Valley Appellation. With climactic similarities to Burgundy, France, the Russian River Valley is considered a top region for producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The nearby Pacific Ocean sends on-shore breezes and fog to cool the vineyards, and brisk water creates a cooling effect that results in wines that range from structured to silky textures. The fog from the ocean cools the vineyards, allowing a longer growing season which develops the flavors and balances the acidity. The soil is a combination of fractured sandstone and sandy loam, creating Goldridge soil which is ideal for cool climate grapes. The variety of soils foster diversity of wines throughout the valley.
2. DeLoach combines modern technology and centuries-old French customs. In 2003, the Boisset family brought two generations of sustainable winemaking from Burgundy, France to California’s Russian River Valley.
3. DeLoach is California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), Demeter Certified Biodynamic, and Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing.
