Road Race #3 in the Interior Running Association Race series, this flat, scenic 10K loop along the Okanagan River channel and around the Oliver Community Park is a great event for runners of all abilities and experience. Back this year is the addition of the 3K loop for runners looking for a shorter distance.

There are 2 aid stations on the course and medical support on site. Refreshments, awards for the top 3 finishers in each category, and draw prizes following the race.

A fun triathlon to allow younger athletes to swim-bike-run in a non-competitive environment and challenge themselves to try the 3 sports and do their best. Pre-registration required. All equipment (bikes, helmets etc.) must be provided by the participant. All participants are asked to check-in on race day at 8:30am. The event will begin at 9:00am.

Oliver’s annual, Roots and Fruits Expo is a fun-for-all-ages celebration of our town, it’s agriculture, history and rich arts community.

The Expo will start Friday, August 18 with the annual Rock and Roll Picnic. On top of the party atmosphere hyped by great rock and roll music, come for the food! Once again, we’ll have top local chefs transforming humble hotdogs into works of culinary art in our “Top Dog” People’s Choice cooking competition. Saturday, August 19, the excitement gets rolling at 10:30am with our annual downtown Parade. After the parade, come on down to Oliver Community Park for free music and entertainment and food and market vendors right through until 10:00pm.

The Roots and Fruits Expo celebrates the many things that make our region unique and special. Enjoy an agricultural themed exhibition of produce, baking and art; pie eating contests: vendors market; and so much more. Free admission.
