From 2000, this is a publication that I designed for an internet start-up company. My electronic and printed newsletter.
An co-owner of North Country RV in Spokane wanted to get into the dot.com business. I was a recent college graduate, and skilled in both print and internet design, I contact to become the design guru. I worked hard to build an inventory database, a website, and this printable PDF publication.
Owner networked with customers via phone, email and in-person; hoping get subscribers to pay for printing and website costs. I recommend the owner to sell advertising, but I was told no because it would clutter up the publication and website. After two editions (I was working on a third) I wasn’t too surprised to be told the venture wasn’t cost effective.
I moved on to a job in a local government and did not design or publish much for six years. Sadly, this project didn’t work out, but it demonstrated I am able to design, write, and edit a publication.
