During initial job site survey take note of the weather conditions. Rain, snow, wind direction and speed, what side the sun is on, etc.

In rainy/wet conditions it is important to be extra careful with the ladders. Spike the feet of the ladder when on wet ground. Have another tech foot the ladder whenever on a hard slippery surface.

If the wind is blowing hard in one direction, make sure you clean the windows in that direction to avoid water being blown onto a window that was already cleaned. Also in high winds it is important to be careful carrying the ladders. Do not leave ladders unattended in high winds.

4

Take note of what side the sun is on. You will need more water on the scrubber in order to clean those windows. This is also when a water bottle is handy to re-‐wet the scrubber.
