! “Guilty As Charged” is a Belgian Heavy Metal band with a touch of Thrash Metal. They were formed in 2008. In the summer of 2009, they recorded their first demo which had five heavy songs on it. They’ve already shared the stage with big names like Soulfly, Death Angel and Propain on Alcatraz Metal Festival 2011 and Masters @ Rock 2012. IN 2014 they got back into the studio to record “Leap Of Faith”.! The Album has 8 songs on it. From start till finish, it is a 32 minutes headbanging experience. ! As a Metallica fan the voice on “I’ll Never” reminded me a lot of James. But that’s a good thing right? It’s nice to hear influences from other bands in such songs.! “Lonewolf” has some nice sing along potential , the melody at the end and the “oohoho” will make you automatically sing along with it. ! You can take a breath with the song “Elysium”. The dreamy riffs will take you to another place, where the next song “Lack Of Control” will put you right back into reality. ! I really like the album art. Nicely drawn. You can really fantasize about the cover.! “Leap Of Faith” is an overall great album with a lot of good, heavy, Iced Earth/Metallica inspired riffs. With all the diversity on this album, you will not get bored listening to it. Nice job!!
