Governance Administrative Staff

1. Job Purpose To support the delivery of The FA National Game Strategy in the County FA. To manage and oversee the operational and Governance section of the business

2. Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities Office Operations Managing and leading the Operations Team to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently and to a high quality and within prescribed standards including membership, representative football, discipline and county cup competitions. Quarterly review meetings with CEO/CDM/SnrFDO Implement Staff meetings monthly Identifying areas for improvement and establishing processes to assist in the Governance Operation in line with FA requirements. Leading and facilitating working groups and setting measures to improve efficiency and gain cost savings. Attending Council and Committee meetings to facilitate the work of the Council. Attending relevant FA forums & workshops aimed at improving the working/operation of the administration team Responsibility for the Health and Safety of whole site, working with Association’s partner Any other office management as nominated by the Chief Executive County Cups and County Matches

Manage and Administer County Matches and all County Cup competitions including the planning of the County Cup Finals in conjunction with the CEO/Board". Cross referencing County Cup entries against relevant FA Systems. Making the draws for County Cup Competitions utilising Full-Time or any other relevant FA system. Distributing draws & referee appointments to leagues, clubs and match officials. Liaising with appropriate personnel with regards to any disputes or queries Issuing & processing payments for fines for breaches of competition rules Providing information for Results to MarComms Officer for reports


Sanctions Lead and manage the renewal process for the sanction, affiliation and registration of Leagues/Competitions/Associations, Clubs and Referees. Manage the distribution of affiliation forms & county cup entry forms to clubs & check completed forms upon receipt for discrepancies Manage the process of completed forms & payments including county cup entries Liaise with County Welfare Officer regarding Club Welfare Officer queries Support Leagues and Clubs with affiliation and sanction processes and monitor Discipline Manage the complete Disciplinary process to ensure FA memorandum of procedures and regulations are complied with. Liaise with Disciplinary Officer and Divisional members to arrange the process for plea applications. Liaise with The FA on all Discrimination matters in line with The FA I&AD Strategy Arrange annual training for Discipline Staff, Commissions and Council Introduce a Local Football Disciplinary Panel

3. Knowledge/Experience/Technical Skills/Behaviours a) Knowledge/Experience/Technical Skills Essential:Knowledge of FA Rules and Regulations Knowledge of the County Football Infrastructure Experience in secretarial/administration role Ability to work with partner organisations to support the delivery of programmes and courses

Desirable:IT Experience including use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
