The club was formed in 1945 as Pewsey Y.M. but changed its name to Pewsey Vale FC in 1948. Pewsey Vale FC’s first team plays in the Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division, Pewsey Vale Development plays in Swindon and District Division 2, and Pewsey Vale FC’s U18 plays in Wiltshire Senior Leagues U18’s Floodlight League.

Pewsey Vale U18s were founder members of the Wiltshire Senior Leagues under 18 division in the 2014/15 season, finishing runners-up. They have been consistent in the Wiltshire Senior League floodlight division for the last 4 seasons.

The U18’s previous success has also included reaching the Wiltshire FA Youth Cup Final in the 2009/10 season against FC Chippenham. The game finished 2-2 at the end of normal time but Pewsey, unfortunately, lost on penalties. Pewsey Vale U18s have created a successful pathway from youth to senior football with a promising future and attracting young players from around the county.
