ENTERTAINER’S SERIES

Ronny Cox Singer, songwriter, and musician Ronny Cox has been a major Hollywood actor for over 40 years portraying a diverse range of recognizable characters. Most people know Ronny as the actor playing guitar in the famous “dueling banjos” scene in the film Deliverance. His bestknown roles include George Apple in Apple’s Way (1974-75), Lieutenant Andrew Bogomil in Beverly Hills Cop (1984), Richard Dick Jones in RoboCop (1987), and the villain Vilos Cohaagen in Total Recall (1990). He’s an artist who wears a variety of hats, but his first love is music. His eclectic music is a woven tapestry of songs and stories, a musical life lesson. He has an infectious sense of humor, first-rate musicianship, and a wonderful gift of consummate storytelling that clearly defines ‘performance art,’ bringing his extraordinary view of life into a magnetic, likable, onstage persona as he shares funny, sad, and tender moments. He will charm the audience with humor, stories, and everything from swing tunes, old favorites, and love songs to real-life anthems. You will go home thinking you spent the evening with an old friend. APR 19
