For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a handson introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin. TUESDAY, JANUARY 16 Brewmaster Series – Meet the People Behind the Beer You Love | 7-8:30pm $25 Have you ever wondered not only how beer is made but who are the talent behind the scenes creating these wonderful elixirs? Well this is the beginning of an ongoing series where Dave the Beer Guy will introduce you to some of his best beer friends in the industry. FRIDAY, JANUARY 19 Guess the Expensive Wine 7-8:30pm $25 Can you tell how much a wine is worth just by tasting it? We’re challenging you to do just that as we present mixed lineup of red and white wines from around the world and ask you to guess which one is the most and least expensive. This class is always a fun and eye-opening evening.
