NEW YEAR, NEW PARK! Kings Gate Park dedicated to city Kings Gate Park, previously held by Wilks Development, has officially been dedicated to the city. Kings Gate Park will now be an essential component of a broader network of amenities, as outlined in the City's Parks & Trails Master Plan, which includes a mountain bike trail, a freeway underpass, and other exciting features. These additions will enhance the quality of life for all Willow Park residents by providing them with a place to relax and enjoy nature.

Kings Gate Park is located just north of I-20 along Kings Gate Road. The park stretches northwest from the entrance along the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. City of Willow Park, Texas El Chico Trail Suite A | willowparktx.gov 817-441-7108 info@willowpark.org

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE: ProFrac to relocate headquarters to Willow Park ProFrac Holdings has announced it will move its corporate headquarters from Fort Worth to Willow Park. The company already has offices in The Shops at Willow Park, but the company intends to build a 60,000 square foot facility in a spot adjacent to The Shops and The District, which will bring roughly 200 jobs to the community. This move was partially made possible due to an economic development agreement made with the city and approved at the Jan. 9, 2024 city council meeting. City Manager Bryan Grimes said the city will pay up to $300,000 in incentives to help facilitate the agreement. Of that, $150,000 will be paid in the first six months and the rest upon certification of occupancy. “This is not cash up front,” Grimes stressed. “This council values performance-based incentives.” Profrac primarily operates in the hydraulic fracturing wells industry within the oil and gas sector.

ProFrac, which already has offices in The Shops at Willow Park, will set its new headquarters just to the east of The Shops.

Taco Bueno, Papa Johns coming on I-20 service road The City of Willow Park has received plans for two new restaurants on the south side of the interstate along the service road: both a Taco Bueno and a Papa Johns are planned for a location just east of VCA Animal Hospital. “Right now it’s too early to say what the timeline is on the construction and opening,” said Communications and Marketing Director Rose Hoffman. “But we are happy to welcome them to our community and look forward to both establishments being part of the City.”
